How much does the Qlik training cost?

Prices may vary depending on the duration of the course/workshop and can only be confirmed once we receive a training enquiry.

How does the registration process work?
  • We will receive a training request from you or your representative.
  • We will then share the training schedule and overview with you via e-mail to select the training offering(s) that you’re interested in.
  • You will then confirm the training offering(s) and preferred date(s).
  • We will then generate a sales order and send you a booking form to complete.
  • You will then return the completed booking form with a purchase order to proof of payment to us.
  • We will then enrol all the delegates into their respective booked courses or workshops.
  • After completion of the course or workshop, our finance department will then generate a tax invoice.
  • The tax invoice will then be sent to you, apon which payment is then required.
What happens after my registration is confirmed?

You will receive a confirmation email with the full details five days before the training date.

How do I know which course I should enrol for?
  • This is dependent on the Qlik software product(s) currently implemented within your organisation. This could either be QlikView and/or Qlik sense.
  • Browse through the eBook to access the training journey map that will guide you in selecting the training you should enrol for based on the software product(s) used in your organisation for your user profile.
  • Please note that we are only accepting registrations for the following courses and workshops:
    • Qlik Sense Navigation Consumer Workshop
    • Create Visualisation with Qlik Sense Course
    • Data Modelling with Qlik Sense Course
    • QlikView Designer Course
    • QlikView Developer Course
    • Qlik Sense for QlikView Developers Workshop
We are migrating from QlikView to Qlik Sense. Which class can I enrol for?
  • For IT users
    • If you have already completed the QlikView Designer and Developer course, we recommend that you register for the Qlik Sense for QlikView Developers Workshop.
    • The second step would be to enrol for Create Visualization with Qlik Sense.
    • In the event that you have not yet completed the QlikView Developer course, you should register for the Qlik Sense Data Modeling Course.
    • A training journey map is also available to assist you in selecting a course or workshop that is best suited for you in your Qlik journey.
  • For Business users
    • If you only explore and consume the data on Qlik Apps and have an Analyser License, then enrol for the Qlik Sense Navigation Consumer Workshop.
    • If you would like to build your own visualisations on existing Apps and is authorised to receive a Professional license, then enrol for the Qlik Sense Visualization Contributor Workshop.
    • If you are already a Contributor and would like to extend your skills to build your own Apps on the data available to you, then enrol for the Qlik Sense App Owner Workshop.
    • A training Journey map is also available to assist you in selecting the correct workshop or course that is best suited for you in your Qlik journey.
Where are your training venues located?
  • We have 2 training venues, one in Johannesburg and one in Cape Town.
  • Please note that training will only be delivered online through Microsoft Teams during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
  • We will communicate any changes to the training venues post lockdown.
Do you offer certifications?

All certifications for QlikView and Qlik Sense are conducted through Pearson VUE.

Johann was born in Pretoria, grew up in Pietermaritzburg, KZN and later moved back to Pretoria to complete his tertiary studies, where he is also currently based.

He started his career as an Industrial Engineer at BMW SA, after completing his tertiary studies. Over the years, he skilled himself in the analyses of many different business processes and got more and more involved in interpreting business processes through data.

During his career, he came across QlikView as a BI tool and immediately got hooked on the product’s cross-platform data analysis capabilities. In 2009 he partnered with a Microsoft Services company, delivering QlikView BI Analysis as a professional consultant to their customer base.

He joined the South African Qlik team in 2015, after which he immediately completed his Qlik certifications. As a certified Qlik consultant and trainer he offered his skills and customer experience across various industries which includes Insurance, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Military, Film Industry, Freight Logistics, Education, IT, Banking and Mining.

As a very passionate Qlik enthusiast, Johann has decided to move his focus more towards the sharing of Qlik knowledge and skills with the broader Qlik community through the development of a uniquely tailored Qlik training journey platform as head of the iOCO Qlik Education department.

Pieter was born in Zeerust, Northwest Province. He moved to Pretoria, now Tshwane, where he finished his schooling career and tertiary studies, as an Accountant with a National Diploma in Accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Taxation.

He started his career as a Clerk for an Accounting practice and then moved on to a Software Development firm as a Financial specialist. He then moved to Middelburg, Mpumalanga to work for a Manufacturing firm as a Systems Analyst. From there he moved back to Centurion to start his career in Qlik development and data analysis.

He is currently a Qlik Certified consultant for iOCO for over 6 years and facilitates Qlik Product training as part of his portfolio.

He built up a broad customer experience, covering industries like Manufacturing, Hospitality and Banking.

Pieter is an experienced Qlik Trainer and loves the opportunity to share his experience and knowledge of Qlik products with his class.

John was born in Harare Zimbabwe but grew up near Cape Town. He started his career in IT as a Cobol Programmer and been involved in many areas of the IT Industry.

Eventually John settled into the Qlik Space. He is a Certified Qlik Sense and QlikView Administrator and also a Certified QlikView Developer and has been involved with Qlik Products for over 15 years.

He currently heads up the iOCO Qlik Support Team.

He has a solid understanding of the value of data and has a passion to assist Business in the correct and effective use of information. This is achieved by consulting with Business, taking them on a journey of Data Discovery.

Schalk’s work experience spans across various industries which includes Retail, Marketing, Financial, Insurance and Telecoms.
With his keen interest in reporting and dashboards, Schalk attended the Qlik Masters Summit and the Stephan Few visualization workshops, which enabled him to highlight the importance of providing analytic value to clients.
